Since its inception five years ago, the Denton Black Film Festival has grown into a five-day multidisciplinary platform showcasing some of the best in Black cinema, music, spoken word, art, comedy, workshops, panels and more. DBFF has become one of the fastest growing festivals in the US. Today, we bring together thousands of guests who want to immerse themselves in some of what makes Black culture great, engage in thought-provoking conversations around issuing affecting the Black community, enjoy stories about the Black experience and be entertained by the creative works of our intriguing lineup of over 90 films, great music, poets and this year we will include an Interactive Tech Expo.
We’ll be back this upcoming year… We invite you to visit, bring a friend and experience culture.
