Ride DCTA Free to the 2020 DENTON BLACK FILM FESTIVAL

 

Skip traffic and parking hassles and ride the Denton County Transportation Authority (DCTA) free to the 2020 Denton Black Film Festival. Event-goers can ride DCTA’s A-train and Denton and Lewisville Connect buses from Wednesday, January 22, through Saturday, January 25, at no cost with festival code word. DCTA will not operate service on Sunday, January 26, which is the last day of the festival.

Say the code word “DBFF20” to agency bus and rail operators when you board.

Getting to the festival riding DCTA is convenient and easy. Check out the information below to see how you can get to the various festival venues:

  • Alamo Drafthouse – A-train and Denton Connect Routes 4 and 7
  • Campus Theatre – A-train and Denton Connect Route 7
  • University of North Texas (UNT) on the Square – A-train and Denton Connect Route 7
  • NCTC Denton Campus – A-train and Denton Connect Route 7
  • The Patterson-Appleton Arts Center – A-train and Denton Connect Route 7
  • Texas Woman’s University (TWU) – A-train and Denton Connect Routes 5 and 6
  • Dan’s Silverleaf – A-train and Denton Connect Route 7
  • Denton Convention Center – A-train and Denton Connect Route 7 and a short walk from Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Denton
